PRIVATE TUTOR IN ART HISTORY

A-level / IB / Pre-U Tuition

Starting History of Art for the first time at A-level, IB or Pre-U can be a challenge, and private tuition helps support students in their studies.

This includes help with subject content, visual analysis, essay writing / structuring and exam preparation. It also includes Pre-U Personal Investigation and IB Comparative Study, Process Portfolio and Curatorial Rationale.

All my students improve at least one grade, and the majority receive top grades.

Undergraduate Tuition

Whether or not students have studied History of Art before, they often need support during their degree.

Private tutoring to support BA studies includes help with readings, critical theory, special subjects, coursework, essay / dissertation structuring and writing and exam preparation.

My students receive Firsts or high 2.1s in their finals, and the majority also receive top grades, including awards and commendations, in their dissertations.

Postgraduate Tuition

Private tutoring for MA / MPhil and PhD students includes help with special subjects, critical theory, coursework, essay / dissertation structuring and writing.

My students receive top grades, and many go on to publish their work.

University Applications

I help students choose their courses and prepare applications for university via UCAS in the UK, and the Common App in the USA. This includes help with UCAS Personal Statements and the Common App essay prompts.

All my students receive offers from their top choice universities.

Oxbridge

I have a near perfect success rate in helping students get invited for an interview based on their applications for Oxford and Cambridge. The majority go on to be offered a place.

EPQ

I help students with EPQs based on Art History. Working on a long piece of writing, students often require support choosing their subject, as well as researching, planning and structuring their projects.

All my students receive top grades in their EPQs.

Homeschool

I homeschool History of Art at A-level, IB and Pre-U. Whatever the reason students may prefer not to go to school, taught in this context, my students receive top grades, and go on to university.
